Real Join

Join Real Video files together.

What is Real Join ? Real Join is a front end to the rmeditor.exe command line utility. Rmeditor.exe is an application from Realnetworks which ships with Real Producer.

What does Real Join do ? It allows you to join two or more Real Video (*.RM) files together and add additional info like Author, Title, Description, etc.

Requirements: Real Join runs on any Windows 32 platform from Windows 95 to XP. It doesn't require any additional OCX, DLL or paraphernalia by itself. It does require however Real/Helix Producer so you must be able to run it in order to achieve anything with Real Join.

Update Info: The latest version of Helix Producer Basic includes again a copy of rmeditor.exe. There are some minor changes but the bulk of the functionalities is still there. For this reason, I have updated Real Join as to support both the old version of rmeditor.exe (that ships with Real Producer 8.x) and the latest version that ships with Helix Producer 9.x.

The new version of rmeditor.exe doesn't include some parameters (allow indexing, allow downloading) and there is a new rating scheme. Thus, according to the version of rmeditor.exe you choose to run, some options might not be available. The is a new checkbox on the options page which you can use to specify which version of rmeditor.exe you are using.

The software should be pretty much self explaining. I don't have the time to write a documentation for it but I plan to make a FAQ should it be necessary.
